A basic oatmeal mask is simply powdered oats and water.
Blender or food processor
1 cup plain oats
1 cup water
Powder the oats in a blender or food processor. Pour the water into the pot and add the powdered oats. Stir while heating on a low setting. Add more water if needed to make the mixture into a spreadable consistency. It should hold together but not be lumpy. Allow to cool and rub all over your face, shoulders, feet or any dry, irritated skin. Allow it to remain on the skin for at least 15 minutes. Rinse off in the sink, shower or bath.
